We will go further than just the letter of the law when it comes to handling personal information, and adopt good practice standards. We will consider and address the privacy risks first when we are planning to use or hold personal information in new ways, such as when introducing new systems and be open with individuals about how we use their information and who we give it to. We will make it easy for individuals to access and correct their personal information. We will keep personal information to the minimum necessary and delete and dispose of it when we no longer need it adopting the correct disposal procedures. We have in place effective safeguards to make sure personal information is kept securely and does not fall into the wrong hands. We will provide training to staff that handle personal information and treat it as a disciplinary matter if they misuse or don’t look after personal information properly. We will put appropriate financial and human resources into looking after personal information to make sure we can live up to our promises and regularly check that we are living up to our promises and report on how we are doing.

Pricing

All orders made by you are the property of Chic Interior until payment has been received in full and is verified in our bank account. We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time. Orders will be subject to acceptance and availability. We will endeavour to notify you if your order cannot be processed for whatever reason. For the avoidance of any doubt: no contract will exist between you (the buyer) and Chic Interior (the seller) of any product until payment is received in full and is confirmed by Chic Interior and you have received a confirmation email from Chic Interior stating that your order has been accepted and dispatched. All our products are priced and correct at the time of listing. We reserve the right to change our prices without prior notice and at any time. The recommended retail price stated by Chic Interior is as recommended by our suppliers.

Postage and Delivery Information

Most of our items are delivered with a courier, courier companies do normally require a signature. Delivery is 3-6 business days and you are agreeing to be available for delivery when scheduled, some items are very fragile and failed deliveries can cause unnecessary damage. The courier will only hold your parcel for 4 days before returning the parcel to us. All deliveries are to the customers property or building door, drivers will leave as instructed by the customer with a neighbour or in a safe place, this then becomes the responsibilty of the customers. Couriers will not take items inside the property as they are not insured to do so.

Returns Policy

We have a 14-day returns policy, which means you have 14 days from the date of receiving your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition and returned in its original box and packaging with all protective packaging, labels and accessories included. Proof of purchase will also be required. Returns received without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed. If the original box and packaging are not retained, the item will be non-returnable. Please ensure the item is packaged in the same manner as it was received to prevent damage during transit. Any item returned damaged, incomplete or lost whilst in transit will not be eligible for a refund.

Flat pack furniture is excluded from our 14-day change of mind returns policy once it has been assembled. Disassembling and reassembling furniture can weaken its structural integrity and may affect its quality, stability and future performance. For this reason, assembled flat pack items are non-returnable.

Where a return is accepted due to a change of mind, any refund issued will be less the original delivery charges incurred by Chic Interiors in sending the order. Return postage costs remain the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive the returned order and our warehouse team have checked it, a refund will be issued less the delivery charges we have incurred in sending the item to you.

We recommend using a fully insured and tracked delivery service for all returns. Upon request, we can provide details of our recommended courier services.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To enable us to assess your claim promptly, we require:

• A clear video showing the damage or fault.
• A video of the item before assembly.
• A video of both the internal protective packaging and the external packaging, including any courier labels and any visible damage to the box.

Please do not assemble, use or alter an item that you believe is damaged or faulty, as this may affect our ability to investigate the issue.

Before submitting a claim, we ask that you carefully review the product images and description on our website. Our product pages are designed to accurately represent the item, including close-up photography and detailed descriptions of the materials, finish and design.

Many of our furniture collections are handcrafted, hand-finished or made using natural materials. As a result, variations in wood grain, colour, texture, distressing, brush marks, veining, panel detailing, welding, joins and other natural characteristics are an expected part of the manufacturing process and form part of the product’s intended appearance. These features are not manufacturing faults where they are shown in the product images or described within the product listing.

If your concern relates to a characteristic that is already visible within the product photography or described on the product page, this will not be considered a manufacturing defect.

Where a damaged or faulty component can be replaced, we will automatically supply a replacement part. If a replacement part is not suitable, we will determine the most appropriate resolution, which may include supplying a replacement item.

Items reported as damaged or faulty must remain in their original packaging where possible. By placing an order, you agree to retain the original box and all internal protective packaging until you are satisfied the item is free from damage or defects. This is required because all authorised courier collections must be returned in suitable packaging to prevent further damage during transit.

If the original packaging has been disposed of, we may be unable to arrange a collection or provide a return solution, as our couriers cannot transport unpackaged furniture safely.

Where a return is approved, Chic Interiors will provide a pre-paid returns label at no cost to you.

Chic Interiors does not offer partial refunds for damaged or faulty items. Where appropriate, our resolution will be a replacement part, a replacement item or an authorised return, depending on the nature of the issue.

Made to Order Items

Made to order items are manufactured specifically to your order and are excluded from our standard returns policy. Once an order has been placed, made to order items cannot be cancelled or returned.

Nothing within this Returns Policy affects your statutory rights.

Seasonal Items

When placing an order for a seasonal item whether this is Easter, Halloween or Christmas and you change your mind and do not want the item, the item does need to be on its way back to us (tracking requested to show this) before the seasonal event has taken place. This is due to far to many people placing orders using the product for the seasonal event and then returning them. We will not accept any returns for a seasonal item after this seasonal event has passed.

Seconds Items

These are items that may have some damage to them and we offer the item for considerably less than the original price, all seconds items are non returnable and non refundable.

Failed, Missed ,Rejected or Cancelled Deliveries

If a delivery has been confirmed by the customer and delivery company this becomes a binding contract, if the customer then fails to be home for the confirmed delivery a re-deilvery charge will apply. All confirmed deliveries are loaded onto the delivery companies vehicle to your designated address.

If the customer decides they no longer want the item and choices to cancel the order, refuse or rejects delivery the cost for both the refused delivery and the return costs will be deducted from any refund made to the customer, cancellations are not accepted after orders have left us.

Large furniture and large mirrors will require returning using a specialist furniture delivery company or pallet company. If you are requiring to return a piece of furniture or large mirror as it is not suitable the cost involved for the collection is for the customer to pay, we can arrange the collection for you however payment will be required before a collection can be booked. Once the item is returned to us the delivery charges we have incurred will be deducted from any refund (please note this can be between £100- £300) We will not accept a courier return for any large furniture or mirror as items are not cared for and may arrive back to us in a damaged condition(Certain exclusions apply) if the item received is damaged and we have replacement parts available these will automatically be sent out to you to make your item good.

 

Large Furniture and Extra Large Mirrors Delivery Information

All furniture items and extra large mirrors are delivered with a specialist furniture company or on a pallet depending on the product and your postcode. The specialist delivery company will collect from us then consolidate van loads for areas before contacting you to arrange a suitable day and timeslot. Please add a contact telephone number to your details when purchasing furniture or mirrrors as the specialist furniture delivery company will need to contact you regarding delivery. Please allow 10-20 working days for delivery, if your address is the very high or low parts of England and Wales then please allow a little longer. If your item is delivered on a pallet this is a drop curb / driveway service and the items will need to be taken off the pallet so we would recommend you have someone to assist you as the driver may not help.

Discount Codes

All orders are not confirmed until Chic Interiors accept the order. Orders can be cancelled by Chic Interiors for any reason and a refund issued. We offer discounts codes on the website from time to time and these can be used at the checkout, coded offers must always be used at the checkout we cannot offer refunds due to the code not be used.

Pre-Orders Except From Cancellation 

Pre-orders are available on the website all pre-orders will be stored on the websites system until the goods arrive in stock. The pre order dates on the website are the dates the items will be arriving into our warehouse not the delivery date to yourself. Most Pre-orders items are made to order so please allow the time frame for  production, once the order has been sent to the production stage we are not able to cancel the order. As soon as your order arrives into us we will send you an update of your order by email. If your order consists of a pre-order item then the whole order will be sent together we are unable to split orders. The order can only be sent to the address on the order, we are not able to change any information after purchase. Please Note pre-order dates are only an estimate and delays can happen due to production or supplier delays.

Made to Order Items

Made to order items are excluded from our returns policy because they are customized for you. If for any reason your made to order item arrives damaged or faulty we will replace the faulty or damaged part or the whole item if necessary.
